Before you sign up
The questions everybody asks.
- Is it free?
- Free while we’re in beta, for venues and for acts. GigHub never touches the money — the fee is agreed here and paid the way you already pay it.
- Do acts need an account to be booked?
- Yes. A booking has two sides and both need to see it and change it. Signing up is a name, an email, and what you play or where you are.
- Can I still use my own contract?
- GigHub records the date, the times and the fee you both agreed to. Anything else you normally send still goes out exactly the way it always did.
- What happens when a gig is cancelled?
- It stays. A cancelled booking is history, not an error — it keeps its date and the day it was cancelled, so nobody has to relitigate it six months later.
- Is my calendar private?
- Your calendar is yours. An act sees the dates you have asked them about, never the rest of your month.
- I run two rooms — one account or two?
- Two. One login is one venue or one act, on purpose, so every booking is unambiguous about which room it belongs to.
